McEndaffer Beef Genetics is a registered Angus, Balancer, and Gelbvieh herd focused on providing exceptional seedstock developed for short grass climates. Located on the plains of northeastern Colorado, our cattle are built to withstand the challenging environment of the arid high plains, including droughts, high summer temperatures, snowy winters, and low-quality forages. It all started with Brandon’s first heifer at the age of 10, and over the next 20+ years, he and his family (Guy, Rose, Megan, and Kelsie) developed the herd with AI and embryo transfer to what it is today. Brandon and his wife, Cheyenne, are both blessed to have jobs that allow them to work in the ag industry they love. Brandon is a Branch Office Manager and Risk Management Consultant for Compass Ag Solutions, which specializes in market risk management for agriculture commodities. Cheyenne works for Eocene Environmental Group, a leading organization in environmental stewardship. Brandon and Cheyenne also work with Brandon’s parents on the family farm, McEndaffer Ag LLC, specializing in dryland wheat, millet, and milo.
Conversely, Guy and Rose are integral to the viability of the cattle herd from their New Raymer location. It truly is a family business, and both sides of Brandon and Cheyenne’s family help with everything from branding, to moving to pasture, to calving. The newest hands, Jolie, Logan and Sloane are coming up in the operation as well, proving to be pretty good hands.
McEndaffer Beef Genetics is committed to continuous genetic improvement and producing cattle that will perform. We are diligently focused on quality, building lasting relationships and ensuring a solid foundation that supports the growth of our customer's operations.
